This font was inspired by the classic Old Style No. 1 found in the Linotype catalog from the 1930s. It's gently aged to capture the feel of old metal type. It's highly readable, with a nice even color.

For some reason Coldstyle seems to make people think of the Civil War: the font was used by Deborah Ross Film Design in the opening titles and closing credit sequence of the Miramax film Cold Mountain, and subsequently on the dustjacket for the book Team of Rivals.
