One of a number of cookbooks I designed while working at Chicago's Field Museum of Natural History. Under the leadership of Elaine Zeiger, the staff/volunteer cookbook was an annual project which raised funds for charities in Chicago.

This one was my favorite. In addition to recipes, it contained a short story and two flipbook style movies. The movie The Relic was filmed at the museum in 1995, and the title, style, and contents of the book all capitalized on that fact. The cover image is a parody of prop banners from the movie that hung in the museum lobby during filming.
