This portrait doll of singer/songwriter Holly Long was made for the cover of her latest album, Every Little Seam.

The body pattern was developed in the style of the late cloth doll artist Bob McKinley, using muslin draped over a cardboard armature. The style was chosen because of its distinctive pattern of seams on the body.

The head, hands, and legs are sculpted from polymer clay over aluminum and/or paper mache cores. The eyes are ceramic. The wig and eyelashes are from Hollywood Toy & Costume.
